Immigration Evaluations

Psychosocial Evaluations are used to help immigration courts determine if an individual or the family can lawfully remain in the United States, these assessments are based on specific factors and circumstances.Our priority is to make personal experiences a significant factor in the case, to demonstrate the potential hardship and negative ramifications if the individual or family were to return to an unfamiliar or dangerous country.Types of cases:

What to expect with Psychosocial Evaluation
The clinician will conduct a clinical interview with the client and their immediate family.
This interview will help the clinician gather important information about your psychological, medical, and social history, as well as your current cognitive and psychological functioning.Considerations during the assessment:High-level executirve skills, such as reasoning and problem solving

Jennifer Anguiano, LCSW 99217 supports individuals and families facing perinatal challenges, chronic illnesses adjustments, traumatic NICU experiences, and grief and loss. Her approach offers a caring place to move through overwhelming moments and find steadiness while healing.With more than ten years of experience providing in‑depth mental health and psychosocial assessments, she also specializes in trauma‑informed evaluations for people navigating life transitions, emotional struggles, and immigration‑related legal cases. As a first‑generation professional, she brings a personal understanding of the pressures many immigrant families carry. Her work is guided by a commitment to honor each story with care and accuracy, helping every client feel understood while offering clear, compassionate, evidence‑based support.

Vanessa Uribe is a LMFT 106673 who specializes in trauma‑informed care. Her work is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and an understanding of how trauma, life transitions, and systemic pressures shape a person’s emotional world.
She uses a gentle, trauma‑sensitive approach that values each client’s experiences and cultural background. Her goal is to support individuals as they move through challenging moments, helping them build resilience, a sense of safety, and renewed hope.
